Our Fundraisers
Counseling for Kids Fundraiser
Our Counseling for Kids Fundraiser is a special opportunity for us to highlight the K-12 institution in South Dakota that we have chosen as our Counseling Program recipient.
​
All funds raised at the event will be donated to the institution of choice. And to make an even bigger impact, Better South Dakota will match every penny that was raised up to $10,000.
​
This event specializes in prize donation raffles, and a 50/50 raffle. This event takes place yearly in January, but be on the lookout for the exact date.

Gone Golfin' for Mental Health Tournament
Formerly known as the Long Live MC Golf Tournament, this event provides the adults a chance to get out and have some fun.

All funds raised for the event will go towards Better South Dakota and the continuation of our mission.
​
This tournament is held at Elmwood Golf Course and includes awards, hole prizes, and dinner to follow at Gateway Bar & Grill. This event takes place yearly in May, but be on the lookout for the exact date.

Hoop Dreams 3v3 Blowout
Who doesn't love a little basketball? The Hoop Dreams 3v3 Blowout is a youth basketball tournament held at Scheels in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The tournament criteria is made up of boys and girls in 5th-8th grade.

All funds raised for the event will go towards Better South Dakota and the continuation of our mission.
​
This tournament includes placement awards, a hot shot contest, a 3-point contest, and raffles. This event takes place yearly in July, but be on the lookout for the exact date.
Manny Christopher Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser
The Manny Christopher Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser is a great way for us to remember our roots and raise donations for the winners of our scholarship awards.

All funds raised at the event will be split and donated to the two winners of the Scholarship Program awards.
​
This event specializes in prize donation raffles, and a 50/50 raffle. This event takes place yearly in September, but be on the lookout for the exact date.
